Interesting sound clips, a bit Thomas Newman like.

I liked the brief snippets I heard and thankfully no wailing women and duduks.

There are better (and longer) samples in Austin's website- http://www.austinwintory.com/listen.htm

There is a wailing vocal cue (Lisbeth Scott)!

I used a couple of the clips in one of the Guess The Score games. Love it! Very short score but I'll be buying it.

The music yes, the whole video and concept is creepy.
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.

It seems that this score has much less love on this forum than it does everywhere else, but I almost make up for it with my own love. My review of Journey:

Excellent review. I admit I don't quite have the same profound experience when listening to it as you do, but I certainly see where you're coming from.

Haven't listened to more than a few minutes of his Larry Reloaded score yet, but it sounds good:

Not an easy review to write. I hope I have done the score justice. Beautiful score, if a little challenging at time.

Excellent review. I found it a little easier to warm to than you did, I think, but my review won't be as well written. It doesn't make the personal connection with me that Journey did but that one was really special for me.

It would appear that Austin Wintory is to you as Christopher Gordon is to me.

I've got the approval to giveaway a copy signed by both Austin and Professor Johnson. Since I want to generate some traffic for my blog (I'm learning Erik) I think I'll do an audio clip. What do you all think?

Keep expecting this thread to be about how Wintory is getting finedfor a back-breakingly massive amount of money for recording an orchestral game score without his union's permission, in violation of how any score fan could possibly want the industry to work...
