    LSO will do a series of concerts on Trafalgar Square. The first programme includes Stravinsky's Rite of Spring, which some of us talked about a couple of days ago:

    The Toronto Symphony will be performing The Rite of Spring as part of their up coming 2012/2013 season and I'm so going to see it!

    So funny you guys mention this piece! I actually had the privilege of reading through it today in Conducting Orchestra class at Eastman. Super tough piece to play.

    Interesting to think now that the LSO played a HUGE part in my film music interest before I was even interested in film music -- namely through their "LSO Plays Classic Rock" albums.

    I still consider them the best orchestra in the world.
    I am extremely serious.
