    I think I've seen the first two (or it might have been the American remakes). Either way, I should probably clear that up and re-familiarize myself with them before I check out this. But I enjoyed the first two, so that's promising.
    I am extremely serious.
  4. I'm seeing both of them REC 3 and REC 4, they look equally cool

    The American remakes are hideous . The Spanish films are amazing !

    Have only seen Rec 1. Rated it 7 on imdb, so I must have enjoyed it. I remember watching the american remake too, and not liking it much. I don't mind the idea of remaking movies, but it's curious how they nearly always seem to be inferior to the originals.

    Anyway, this Rec 3, looks rather promising.

    Not even close to the genuine feeling and atmosphere of the original, plus the acting in the former is much stronger. The sequel of the american re-make is laughable too, no relation to the story behind rec2.

    the American movie was decent, and had some cool new scenes. But despite rating it 6, I genuinely felt that it was more acted than the spanish version (which I felt was so scary because it felt so real, so natural). Even down to the old couple that had a few scenes

    Anyway, REC 1 is amazing (8) and REC 2 has some scary stuff 2 (6). I hope the rest doesn't disappoint me

    I actually saw QUARANTINE first before I realized it was a remake of a Spanish film. As such, I thought it was really good. I saw the Spanish film later and thought that was good too. They're pretty equal in my book, but the latter gets the prize because it's European and so much closer to home. Easier to identify with and all that.
    I am extremely serious.
