You know what man, of course it has - where is my head at ??? slant
I guess it's just the desperate part of me not wanting to believe the chance has passed by.

Unfortunatly, it's already been recorded. sad

Let's just hope John Williams was doing some secret recording of himself.

I'm sure there was a production crew there capturing footage for the DVD making-of.

I'm sure you're right man, it's just that I wish the Williams music interviews were much longer.
2, 3 or 4 hours would be nice cheesy

For those of you that haven't seen yet, there's a big post full of piccys from the Varese composer signing yesterday.

As much as I'd have loved to go to this, you had to purchase the 30th Anniversary set in order to gain entry, and anything that you wanted to get signed had to be released by Varese. rolleyes

Sorry Varese, but that is just very stupid.
    I'd have gone home again.

I think the 30th anniversary album was meant to be the ticket for this signing show. After all such a gathering needs to be financed you know.

Actually that's not true. You had to buy the 30th Anniversary album, and while they asked that people limit the 3 items to Varese releases, I saw a lot of non-Varese album covers being signed. The whole idea was that they'd be selling only Varese albums there. But it's not like they had enforcement. smile

BTW, note that Marc Shaiman's nametag is signed by Christophe Beck. wink

I had no problem buying the 30th set to get in. It was like $20 or something, and not only is it 4 cd's of mostly music that I have never heard, but I got like, what, 15 autographs on it?

BTW, my friend took pictures of the event as well:

    Looks great! Good work, Dan.

I can't believe that Don Davis looks about ten years older than when I met him. Though admittedly, that was about ten years ago.

Also, why was Doctor McCoy there? (http://scoringsessions.com/sessions/ima … c_9593.jpg) He's a doctor, not a film music composer!

It was at Dark Delicacies in Burbank, CA. It was announced weeks ago on Varese Sarabande's website.
