Hey all, my scoring session items now have a new home:
http://www.scoringsessions.com
There is higher resolution imagery for almost all of the sessions covered previously, as well as additional photos never before seen - including sessions that never had news items!
I hope you enjoy this new showcase.
(Please note, this is an "open beta" of the website, so if you notice any oddities, do let me know!) -

Excellent Dan! I love it.
Will all the pictures in the end be in a thumbnail overview with a previous and next option?
Now some photo pages have pictures below eachother, like on soundtrack.net. Only when you want to see the rest of the pictures you get to the thumbnail overview. I don't know if it's an oddity or meant to be like that? -

There are two different types of pages, and you're mixing them up!
The "news" items contain text and a few photos, like SoundtrackNet, but with larger imagery. (This is the one that has photos stacked, scrolling down.)
The "session" (or "movie") page contains information on the film, lists the composer/stage/etc. and shows all the photos in a thumbnail gallery manner. When clicking on a thumbnail, you are taken to the enlarged photograph view, which allows you to navigate to the previous/next photo in the sequence. -

An RSS feed (as well as the ability to post photo comments) has been added to the website.
Thanks! -

Hey all, ScoringSessions.com needs your help!
As you browse the website, if you notice any photos without captions - and you know the people in them, or can identify what is going on - please submit a caption for the image using the handy form just below the image.

Thanks! -

I really want to go to the recording sessions for the new Indy film. I know they'd be amazing!
Is it going to be the London Philharmonic again?www.johnpowellcomposer.com/fourtrombones - The Musical Library Of Lost -

Surely it would be the London Symphony?"If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it." - Albert Einstein (24th March 1954) -

Hollywood Symphony Orchestra. Remember, ONLY Raiders was recorded with the LSO. The other two were recorded in LA.

Cool.
I thought the London Philharmonic did all of William's scores (or was that just the Star Wars ones?).

(a) Who's William?
(b) Do you know his brother?
(c) If you mean Williams then you also probably mean London Symphony
(d) No, they don't - they've done some of them (most recently Harry Potter)As Carl Orff said to his wife after she gave him cheese sandwiches for the ninth successive day, "O! For tuna" -

Williams has worked with The London Symphony Orchestra on the Star Wars Saga, Superman, Dracula, The Fury (re-recording), Raiders, Monsignor and The Chamber of Secrets. I think that's it!

I'm afraid so as that's the reason why Temple Of Doom is so f***ing short....

Not sure that's the reason why. I mean, explain the short running time of the original Jedi LP which was recorded with the non-union London Symphony.

That's right but I am sure what I wanted to say
I simply need to identify the guilty parties for that short release

DVD quality, good lord!
In that case - your mission should you choose to accept it, is to infiltrate the Indy4 recording sessions and fill up at least 10 discs worth of footage

Unfortunatly, it's already been recorded.
Let's just hope John Williams was doing some secret recording of himself.www.johnpowellcomposer.com/fourtrombones - The Musical Library Of Lost
