  1. Is anyone familar with the work of this composer?

A few "composer-approved" CD-Rs have appeared at SAE and the clips sound quite interesting:

    "composer-approved CD-Rs"?
I don't care HOW good these clips sound, I'm never EVER going to pay for CDRs, sorry. That, to me, is the equivalent of "composer-approved cassette copies". I'm more likely to buy a download before going there.

Sorry Alan, don't know the composer, but just had to vent a bit.

I thought that someone would "vent" on the subject. Thanks for getting it out of the way early!

  3. Take a read of my comments on Vincent Gillioz's score for Last Breath:

    Hope people find it interesting.

  4. I received a nice email from Vincent Gillioz yesterday thanking me for taking the time to write my review for Last Breath. In the email he was pleased that people take the time to listen carefully to his music and try to understand what he writes and he finishes off the email by saying that "...it encourages me to keep approaching scoring movies in the same detailed fashion."

  5. He seems like a really nice guy. And here are my two cents on his COLLAPSE score, which I quite enjoyed.
