If this happens, it would be an injustice against Black Swan. crazy

It was obvious that this would be the case.

More bad Mansell news... quite a shame, really.

    Clint Mansell Drops Source Code
    Chris Bacon will replace him

Contrary to the reports from September, former Poppie Clint Mansell will sadly now not be scoring Source Code for a repeat of his Moon collaboration with Duncan Jones. Devin Faraci picked up the news from Jones himself that poor timing had scuppered the plan, and the director later confirmed via his Twitter account that "We weren't able to work out a schedule so Clint could do the score in the end. He has been a very busy bee."

I apologize. I installed a chip in my head which prevents me from reading anything containing the following:

    Paul Haslinger
    Tyler Bates
    Thomas Wanker
    Geoff Zanelli
    Chripsybacon

Is it perhaps any of those names?

Yes! It works! How much did you pay for it, and can you add names like Paris Hilton manually?

Whilst i am still trying to understand what did people find in MASS EFFECT 2 to over-blow it as much, news coming in:

Clint Mansell to score ‘Mass Effect 3′

    More info here:

  5. aha, news that will interest my brother then smile
    waaaaaahhhhhhhh!!! Where's my nut? arrrghhhhhhh
  6. I liked Jack Wall's pseudo-Vangelis approach to the scoring of Mass Effect 1 & 2. Not great but it has some fine music. Not sure what Mansell will cook up though. Don't know the composer too well.

    Black Swan deconstructed:

On the massive appeal of BLACK SWAN

    Extract:

. It’s a Tchaikovsky-soundtrack movie: Nothing about it is neater than the way Clint Mansell’s score is almost all taken from “Swan Lake” material, with a marvelous use of the slow chords prefacing the ballet’s most famous pas de deux for an offstage effect of psychological suspense.

Darren Aronofsky’s ‘Yves Saint Laurent’ Ad with Music by Clint Mansell

Darren Aronofsky recently directed an ad for the Yves Saint Laurent men’s fragrance La Nuit de L’Homme. His regular composer Clint Mansell has written the music for the commercial, which has now surfaced online.

Outside of Sahara, my favourite Clint Mansell cue is "Memories... someone we'll never know" from Moon

There's just something about that simple piano melody when playing in solo form that makes it so appealing.
Revenge is sweet... Revenge is best served cold... Revenge is ice cream.

Yep, the CD is now released, and indeed, it's an incredibly lovely score. Performed by primarily solo piano, it's perfect music for, well, late at night.
