    This score will not be talked about anymore. I hear the marketing boys coming with press releases and interviews and all that, shooting the score to unearthly popularity. I refuse to read more about this here!

    This score's parts sound hideous. Do you seriously like this generic crap? That's it, i am not participating further in this thingy 'cause i KNOW it's going to get ugly. uhm

    Getting back to the actual music...it's difficult to get a really good idea of the score but the later clips are the most interesting for me. But if these clips are highlighting what's best in the score, of if they are examples of the style of the score as a whole then it's going to be a tad disappointing.

    A friend of mine whose opinion i value greatly, had heard the score on his copy of the CD and has described it as "wretchedly awful" and wondered whether "this is what film music has derived into". No surprises here then.

    Damn.

    I didn't have high hopes (it's one of my favourite Herrmann scores so it'd be VERY hard to top), but I was at least hoping for something interesting.

    No one has recommended this film/score and frankly I'm not surprised
    listen to more classical music!
