It really pisses me off that they never decided to release the Spiderman 3 score. Young's music far succeeded Elfman's output for the previous 2 movies. But it's also too bad that the 3rd movie was horrible.

Can anyone who has the cd to Young's score for Flowers in the Attic (Intrada) let me know how to distinguish the genuine cd from a fake?

That would be difficult since the genuine CD actually is a Fake.

I assume "A Child's Game" is the retitled "Hide and Seek" (un-used score).

Wait, I thought Young didn't record his score for Hide and Seek, let alone write a complete demo of it.

    Maybe Ottman was wrong...

  2. everybody will agree that Hellraiser II is one of Young's finest, here's a small reason why

You are quite shamelessly promoting your trailers, aren't ya? biggrin

I do love that trailer, btw punk And indeed, his two Hellraiser scores are probably his masterpieces!

    Hi BhelPuri,

it´s not the barcode but the Intrada CD number, which is engraved on the CD ring: MAF 7009.

Composer Christopher Young recently returned to the genre that made him so successful with his score to the horror film The Uninvited. Based on the Korean film A Tale of Two Sisters, ScoringSessions.com is excited to bring you exclusive photos from the scoring session to this creepy and frightening film score.

Good review by Tommy_Boy but considering he points to ALIENS and Young's own Spidey 3 I'm surprised he makes no mention of Goldsmith's POLTERGEIST?

these are the things I hear in it, Aliens especially because it was already spotted in the first score Hellraiser. If I heard Poltergeist in it, I would have definitely said it. Perhaps I'm getting rusty? confused

  6. Nice review Tommy_Boy. I've tried watching the movie several times to see how Young's music fits the visuals but it's such a dire movie I feel content to just listen to the music!

    Agree 100%, fabulous score!

But listen to Goldsmith's Rebirth from POLTERGEIST and compare it to the track ( can't remember as I don't have the CD at hand ) that immediately follows the apocolyptic main theme.....you're in for a surprise!

Thanks Alan, the movie surely didn't deserve such a score as this, I'm happy Young disagreed with that fact
