Going from the clips, it seems like we get an epic and gothic opening and closing to bookend some very creepy yet inventive suspense in between - just like Hellraiser!

He played the main title at Ubeda. I won't describe it here, but it got a standing ovation. wink

He got a similarly positive response when the audience heard the main titles from Ghost Rider in Madrid. wink

So no legitimate promotion of up-and-coming composers then?

Or by "promo" do you mean music from dubious sources (including composer-sanctioned "leaks")?

promos that agencies send us, or composers for that matter that's something else
but promo's or unreleased stuff you must download to get it we will try to avoid, how sad it is

so The Core (which is a promo released by the composer) and Spider-Man which is not shows the difference between the 2

Actually, there is a Spider-Man 3 promo. A legit one sent by Young's agency. I have it.

^ What's on it? Is it that short one with the three main themes and a couple of action cues?

so, this one could be for sale?
    hmn, interesting

It would be so easy to just review everything, so I don't have to care about what's legal and what's nort. Music's music eh.

But I think in due time, this too will receive a propper release

Birth Of Sandman and Harry Attacks Peter are two fine dramatic/action tracks though. Also like the motif for the Black-suit Spiderman.

Going to watch "The core" tonight (thanks in advance for any condolences offered).

I'm not familiar with either the score or film. Are there any scenes where the music is breathtaking, and where I should pay extra attention?

The film is standard silly Hollywood blockbuster stuff. The score follows suit, but is hugely enjoyable.

I´d say the film is FAR below Hollywood blockbuster stuff (for starters, the cast is one of the worst enesembles I remember).
