  5. I would love to come and experience the magic of Ghent again. And unlike the rest of you, I don't think I'd be displeased to be doing it for an Alexandre Desplat concert either. Sadly I can't see it happening this time. :/

    We are spoiled here! Hope you can make it to Ghent once more, perhaps during the film festival. It's a small one, but I think you'd like it! You aren't around in Belgium anytime soon then?

    Yes Francis, I have been to the last 7 editions of the WSA
    I cannot understand why I didn't go the first 2 years eventhough I was in Belgium (2004, 2005).
    I thought it was impossible to find tickets or it was only reserved to composers and music industry poeple.....then I found out that tickets were available to public too.

    Mr Desplat's concert in 2009 at the Music Centre De Bijloke was awesome. I've been able to talk to him and Mr Hamlisch after the show! Unforgetable experience.
  9. Hey guys, for those who want to experience the magic of Ghent again this year (food, beer, chocolate and for some of the younger gents the girls wink ), let me know what you're willing to do about the concert.

    If you want, I could order the tickets in advance. So it means that you have to pay me when you arrive, and that you're able to sit with us during the concert.

    If possible (the site for the tickets isn't online yet) I will try to get the same places as last year.

    The prices are 29, 39 and 49 euro's. I can't speak for the most of us, but I'm game for all 3 prices (I assume the 49 are the same places as last year)

    So, let me know something as soon as possible.

    Since it's the 40th edition of the festival, there'll be more events and surprises.
    One of which is that this anniversary will be celebrated with no less then 40 composers. shocked
