Had a listen to the show Thor. Very varied selection, including very old pieces and some 80's style stuff (which can be expected coming from you wink ).

Listening to the complete score for Human now. Lots of typical Amar stylings in there but lots of recycling as well. Sometimes it sounds exactly like pieces from Home or one of his earlier scores. Still, enough fresh material to make it a really enjoyable score.

EDIT: On the other hand, a lot of the documentary scores were written for the same director (Yann Arthus-Bertrand), so there's defenitely a line through all these. wink

Thanks for tuning in, Bregt! I always try to make my programs as eclectic as possible, covering both electronic stuff, maybe some rock stuff, classical things etc. It's all about the 'listening experience'.

I love HUMAN -- the different styles obviously reflect the different cultures that the film portrays, but not in "synch". Meaning that for a sequence involving some place in the middle East, for example, he uses the Swedish folk lullaby etc. Part of the whole 'we're one world' ideology permeating the film, I guess.

I have a new program coming up shortly, but it's in Norwegian.

    You're probably on GOOD TIME.

This year was actually rather disappointing in terms of electronic scores (compared to previous years), but there were a couple of highlights, at least.
