    biggrin

It´s what most people here seem to have adopted as a philosophy these days.

If a score is not absolutely, abysmally awful, they are already kind of happy.

Even dreadful scores are kind of okay today.

In a completely unrelated message, I cracked up when listening to a very mainstream german radio station this morning, 1LIVE. They have a short comedy thing each day about a group of geeks living together, kind of Big Bang-like, but a bit more on the nerd and crazy side.

Today they were doing riddles, and one sang "badabada-badabada-badabada-badabada-BLAAAAAGH!!!! - What is that?", and another answered "every filmmusic since Hans Zimmer happened".

I mean, THAT?!, our BLAAAAGH!!!, on a german radio station playing pop all day? That made my day.

Personally, I like the more serious Capaldi. I had grown tired of the quirky, whimsical nature of Tennant and Smith. Sure, there's still quirk, but more laidback and tough. A bit like Jon Pertwee.

I think this casting choice was very wise.

Capaldi is one of my favourite actors at the moment. I don't care much for Doctor Who so probably won't catch him in that often. Still, his Malcolm Tucker is one of the best sitcom characters of the last 10 years, in my opinion.

Last year I heard it several times (due to the Doctor's 50th I'm sure).
For the rest, no, I would doubt anyone would find much artistic or aesthetic merit in it still.

...I still have the 45" single, though. dalek
