    The main theme ( I haven't heard the rest yet ) is sort of like Abel Korzeniowski/Ennio Morricone, deep, sombre strings with solo violin and piano work.

    I'll be keeping my eye/ear out for Alexander Cimini. I really enjoyed what I heard.

    D, the Hyde track reminded me a little of The Grand Finale from Abel Korzeniowski's ESCAPE FROM TOMORROW ( though it isn't quite as huge and epic as that )

    First listen, Johann Johannsson's THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING score to be released this fall.

    Boy oh boy, big surprises during the end of the year. Who thought Minimalism-king Johannsson could also write as such? What i heard so far is lush, completely orchestral and classical-romantic in nature, impressive. Will report when i finish first listen.

    Indeed, not this score though (although i love his minimalistic side). This more Marianelli, Desplat, with a touch of Johannsson. Great stuff.

    That's no problem. It's always difficult to keep up with all comments made. I just need to make sure that I am more effective at highlighting good stuff. An unknown film from a relatively obscure composer isn't going to attract that much attention though.

    Just did. It's OK, but like Southall I prefer the main title of KROKODIL more, I think. In short, some good tracks, some horror things that don't do anything for me.....so I don't think I share the enthusiasm of everyone else in this case.
