The program is FINALLY up for this year's FMF in Krakow:
http://www.fmf.fm/en/4/1/451/the-7th-kr … am-is-here
I will be personally involved this year (I helped with getting the KON-TIKI concert off the ground and will most likely host a panel -- this hasn't been decided yet), so I will obviously be there unless there are obligatory things keeping me in Norway.
Anyone else going?
Unfortunately, it collides a little bit with the Prague festival, for those who consider attending both.I am extremely serious. -

That's cool Thor, you managed to get involved a lot more. Did you arrange it with Johan himself?
I cannot attend though this year, bad timing for me.Kazoo -

Among other things, yes.
Too bad you can't make it. I think you'd love Krakow also in a tourist sense.I am extremely serious. -

I need to see more of the former Jewish district (Kazimierz). We got a glimpse of it on the way to the Reijseger concert in a church there.http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

He, he...that too, but that's a tourist TRAP, beautiful as it is.
The trick is finding cool places in the side streets.I am extremely serious. -

I was in Krakow once, but it was a long, long time ago. I think I may have been about 13-14. I remember there being these weird big mound/hill things that were monuments to national heroes or something...and there were like a million pigeons in the main square. -

There are hills dedicated to people, but there is also the castle on a hill, where many kings (and a president) are buried.http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

Of course I and a lot of SST members will be present.
Like last year we are planning to have a close SST Meet & Greet with some composers with the help of the festival organisation, so the composers are available for us. MainTitles members are welcome too.
I will keep you posted. That's the beauty of music. They can't take that away from you. (Andy Dufresne) -

Very weird and humbling to be listed as 'special guest' alongside Marianelli and Santaolalla.
But yeah, looking forward to meeting you, Pawel and Caliburn. Seems like we're the only ones going from Maintitles.I am extremely serious. -
