Hard to believe that there is no thread for this talented composer. BSX has released the soundtrack The Belstone Fox. Very melodic with excellent use of the woodwinds.

I like his work on The Avengers (and its spin-offs) and his very dark score for First Men In The Moon, but I have to say I know little (if anything!) else from him.
I'll see if BSX has some sound clips up
EDIT: they do, and it IS nice!.'no passion nor excitement here, despite all the notes and musicians' ~ Falkirkbairn -

I noticed on IMDB he has done over 400 scores, pretty impressive.

With British composers whose music from films are sparsely represented on discs (such as William Alwyn, R.R. Bennett, etc.), one receives a more comprehensive overview of a composer's output and talents by watching the films (and TV shows) they scored on home video.
Here's some films & TV that Laurie Johnson wrote for, which I'm aware of being on DVDs:

Finally got the CD in, and it is just lovely! Beautiful themes and motifs, and the woodwind writing is indeed exquisite. By all accounts the films seems to be a bit of a dud, but the score is very much worth the effort.'no passion nor excitement here, despite all the notes and musicians' ~ Falkirkbairn
