    Today the hosting company moved my sites to a new server but it caused a lot of problems. They announced this on Monday, but didn't think it would cause any issues, as they didn't foresee any.

    But the forum was unreachable for some hours today and now the review section is also broken.

    I'm in contact with them to fix all this asap. I of course have no SLA. I don't know enough of the server settings to find out exactly what is wrong.

    Sorry for the troubles, I hope we are back soon.

  4. How come I can access the forum on my smartphone but when I try and access via my browser all I see is:

    Yes, I changed that when I was back from work. That was the first time I had seen that message since I changed hosting 7 years ago. My English has improved since then. smile

    It DOES seem faster!
    Edit: yes, it is: just tried a search, which normally is quite intensive, and ther esults came back a lot faster now!

    Not sure whether it's a problem or a new feature request, but the fact of the matter is that the spoiler-tag isn't really mobile-friendly. At least on tablet nor on mobile I'm actually able to read through it (it just stubbornly remains seemingly empty lines). Does the forum support a different type of spoiler implementation, like collapsible boxes?

    For a time, when I was trying to post a comment, I was getting an error message saying that what I was trying to do was forbidden - something about not being able to post from a particular server.

    When I cut-and-pasted each of the 3 paragraphs of the original comment individually the first 2 paragraphs were accepted and posted fine. But when I tried to add the final paragraph I got the forbidden message. But when I posted the 3rd paragraph as a separate comment immediately after the comment that contained the 2 previous comment, this 3rd paragraph posted fine.

    Not sure if the problem is with the browser or this specific site.

    The problem occurs when trying to post using my smartphone using the Opera browser app.

    I have no problems here, but I have major technical issues over on FSM. I can't log in or post (on my laptop, my iPhone works fine there for some reason). The administrator doesn't respond to my mail. I suspect I've been silently banned, for whatever reason -- perhaps because I stood up for OnyaBirri (Drew), who was banned there a few days ago.
    I am extremely serious.

    It will be very sad if my days on FSM are over, after 25 years. But I'm going to stay cool for a little bit longer, in case it's just a technical issue.

    Two weeks later, and I FINALLY found out what was causing the log-in issues: The virus program BitDefender. It has worked fine for years (it was one of the most highly recommended free virus programs), but two weeks ago, something must have happened with it that prevented me from logging into FSM (and Dropbox too, it turns out). I have now uninstalled the software, and can log in on my laptop again! Hooray!
    I am extremely serious.

    Weird indeed! I just checked and I can post in Now Playing just fine. Maybe the problem has been fixed, or maybe it’s a browser thing? I’m currently on my iPhone in Safari.
