    lol

Pretty interested in the score, btw... Could me massive and jungly lick
  1. It was recorded months ago. The LMO has a page about the score and photo or two, if you guys are interested.

But between the negative reviews from early screenings (including a complaints about it's ending), the film will probably be edited and the ending reshot, and probably be lucky if it's not rescored. Kloser & Wanker just did the score wayyy too early.
The views and opinions of Ford A. Thaxton are his own and do not necessarily reflect the ones of ANYONE else.
  2. How is this movie PG-13? Meh. I've never been impressed with Kloser, but this may be good.

The music on the 10,000 BC homepage sounds like Apocalypto and some random RC/MV stuff.

And the whole score sounds like that, but far more enjoyable than apocalypto and far more generic (this sampled Indian/african guys from MV library)

The main theme is rather good, Trevors Jones / Zimmer like.

Just had a chance to listen to the 10,000 B.C. promo score, and was totally disappointed. What a mess...
Some "Apocalypto" tribal chants, some Zimmer-esque themes, and some drones...

I miss the David Arnold-Roland Emmerich days !

The cover has to look good, because we all know how the score itself will sound, and if the cover wasn't good nobody would ever buy it.

Whereas we all know Despat will write something nice for New Moon, so they think they can afford to get away with a terrible cover

    good one

the name is not uncommon, because it has no meaning in german. an opposed example is HANS ZIMMER. ZIMMER is the german word for ROOM. so in english HANS ROOM.

the action stuff sounds a lot like RCP music. i like it. the rest sounds solid, i think more orchestral than THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW.

I liked THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW. It was THE THIN RED LINE-ish and melodic enough to keep my interest. Nothing new though, the same string-led melancholy inspired by Zimmer we've heard so many times in the past. Not that it's necessarily bad though wink
