  1. Victor Reyes' title music for The Night Manager won best "Music - Original Title" at the Royal Television Awards recently. There's a short video of Reyes receiving his award:

    I thought that this was one of the best blending of music and images for an opening sequence that I have seen in some time. Other nominees were Edmund Butt & Tim Rice for From Darkness and The Insects for their work on the titles for The Living and The Dead.

    The award for "Music - Original Score" went to Arthur Sharpe for his score for Channel Four's Flowers. Other nominations were Edmund Butt for From Darkness and Edmund Jolliffe for Elizabeth at 90: A Family Tribute. I've not heard any of these.
