  1. Considering we are close to the premiere of our new review section, I thought it would be fun to see which score held your biggest interest. See considering Bregt does all the hard work around here and I do frankly nothing tongue , I had time to spare to write a lot of reviews of the latest scores. And considering I've got a bunch waiting for the opening premiere, you can make the choice yourself: which score do you want to see posted as our very first review?

I think its fair to let you pick 2 out of the list and who knows we'll even post the 2 most chosen titles. As for now, its all in your hands. Here are our selections:

    - 3:10 to Yuma (Beltrami)
    - Bad Boys (Mancina)
    - Bee Movie (R. Gregson-Williams)
    - Charlie Wilson's War (Newton Howard)
    - The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey (Farley)
    - George & the Dragon (Waltzing)
    - Godzilla (Arnold)
    - Harry and the Hendersons (Broughton)
    - I Am Legend (Newton Howard)
    - Island of Lost Souls (Antonia Cornish)
    - The Killing Floor (Wandmacher)
    - Lair (Debney)
    - National Treasure 2 (Rabin)
    - The Orphanage (Velàzquez)
    - Stardust (Eshkeri)
    - Transformers (Jablonsky)
    - Treasure Island (Dodd)
    - The Water Horse: Legends of the Deep (Newton Howard)

Ps, if by any chance you are so angry on the review's rating I will be forced to take actions. And those actions are "basically to accept the angriness" biggrin
    waaaaaahhhhhhhh!!! Where's my nut? arrrghhhhhhh

I've seen a few positive posts on The Orphanage but I'd rather read something more in-depth. And I didn't even know Nicholas Dodd had scored a new film, so I wouldn't mind reading up on Treasure Island.

Tommy_boy, are you trying to create a hype? tongue

I can already say my first two reviews will be Piero Piccioni's Camille 2000 and Nino Rota's Il Casanova de Federico Fellini.

I'd pick 2 scores I don't know anything about yet, so it'd be as informative and interesting as possible lick

    My nominations are:
    The Orphanage (Velàzquez)
    The Killing Floor (Wandmacher)

No idea what the second one is about dizzy

I think it would be nice to see reviews of things that nobody else has done. Therefore my votes go to:

Island of Lost Souls! More people need to hear this one. I love this score to death and Jane deserves more exposure! A brilliant work!

Looking forward to the big opening! I'm going to have to be biased and say the two scores I know most about, being I Am Legend, and The Water Horse: Legends of the Deep. I would say I Am Legend and Transformers, but that isn't the most liked score about, haha. No, i'm happy with my first two choices smile

I agree, but perhaps not the Dodd, since it's effectively sold out.

    I'd say...

    1 - Godzilla
    2 - The Water Horse

I'd have said Transformers too but it's just not the same as Water Horse biggrin

There is indeed a release, I picked it up when I was visiting Barcelona in december. However I assume there isn't a wider release for now, but that will change when the movie will be played all over the world wink

I quite liked the score in the film, so I'm interested in reading a review of the album. Fine film, too, for fans of ghost stories.

  5. Just to make a heads up (we will keep this thread going until friday evening I think)
The proud leaders so far are:

    - The Orphanage with 5 Votes

    Followed by:
    - I Am Legend, Island of Lost Souls and Treasure Island with each 3 votes

If anyone want's to change that, now is the time to act
    Vote damnit, VOTE wink
