Oh yes, I got some more on Bregt:

-every score that doesn't remind him of the current state of Belgian politics
-every score that does remind him of the current state of Belgian politics

    And some more:
Rachel Portman - The Road to Wellville and Chicken Run. No further explanation needed...

I'm "offended" I only featured on Timmer's list in this here old thread. wink

But it would be fun to do another round now, on things we associate with the surviving membership.

    Pawel - Hans Zimmer
    Alan - 70s TV, off-radar new scores
Cailin - James Newton Howard, John Powell, animated stuff
    Bregt - contemporary European composers
Thomas - big, orchestral Hollywood genre stuff
Erik - 80s and 90s orchestral action scores
Joep - offbeat composers and scores, often European
Lee - hummable scores from the 90s and 2000s
    I am extremely serious.

Often European? In terms of reviews yes. It does not reflect my globally orientated taste and knowledge.

Thor: cheesy or classy electronic scores, both the good, the bad and the ugly. dizzy

He, he...yeah, but it ain't no fun if it's spot-on, correct. It's supposed to be tongue-in-cheek prejudicial, like you just did here:

    Haha, nice. smile
  1. I'd say Thomas Newman, JNH or The Perfect Storm, myself.

I'll happily snap up all of those. Thank you Pawel.

Looking back on this thread, I've clearly been known for leaning massively into James Newton Howard's favour. Which is fair enough... he was the guy that got me properly hooked into this world.
