Award-winning Broadway composer Jeanine Tesori takes on her first major studio film score, Nights in Rodanthe. The romantic film stars Richard Gere and Diane Ladd, and ScoringSessions.com was at the sessions to bring you exclusive photos and information about the score!

So then, she can write film score. I was wondering who will score Disney's upcoming Rapunzel... she is writing (or maybe already wrote) songs for it. Probably she'll write its score too? (she didn't score The Little Mermaid 3 though)

  1. Doesn't GIacchino score it?

Giacchino on Rapunzel? I've never heard that... he's on PIXAR's Up, though.

The Little Mermaid 3 is scored by James Dooley.

By the way, interview with Dooley & Tesori will be up on Animated Views soon smile

Though Giacchino is good too, I really hope Alan Menken scores Rapunzel!

Decca has released Shrek the Musical both on CD and in digital download format. The clips on iTunes aren't bad at all.
