I am experiencing the same problems as before. I can see and hear Alan and Thor clearly.

I'm afraid I have to sit today out. We had window replacement at home and cleaning up took two days, I need some rest, really.

And now we're back to the Zoom again. Sorry for the back and forth.

I am not surprised that you are hungover today!

The problems I had were to do with my own settings (I think). I think that a recent update had changed how some settings were set or how I could change them. I think that the problem stemmed from the fact that sound settings were different depending upon how you were listening to things.

There's a little speaker icon in my taskbar and if I mute it then I can't hear anything from my MediaMonkey music player. But, when in Chrome that icon doesn't seem to apply when listening to things like YouTube videos. And it seemed that the video chats were set as if I was listening to my music player. And this meant that, if I couldn't hear audio on the chats and then went to Youtube to see if my laptops's settings were ok, the video played sound. At this time I didn't really know that my settings were different depending upon what I was listening to.

But, having sussed that out I think that I have mastered the audio...(if anyone wants a mini-chat sometime so that I can check that I can hear things ok that's possible).

Thor, I got really bamboozled when I was trying to sort things out - 2 different video chat platforms, three different browsers (Chrome, Opera, Edge), two different technologies (Windows laptop, Chromebook) and when using the Chromebook, the two different video chat platforms' apps as well as their sites on the 3 browsers - I lost track as to whether the chat option that wasn't Zoom worked well for everyone else?

Unfortunately, nothing seemed to work for Joep to see and hear everyone and to be seen and heard by everyone (though I think you were able to see and hear people, Joep?)

I am sure that you thoroughly searched for solutions but I see that even specific brands of computer - Lenovo - have their own issues!

It's very frustrating when you sort out all the settings you think you need to set and things still don't work. As I said before I tried so many variations that I was completely confused. So much so that I am not really sure what my original priblem was!
