Would you like to join the party with me and Demonstar? biggrin

I´m sorry to report that Lion King didn´t much for me. I guess I listened to it five times max. when it came out, and now that you mention it, I realize I never did since then.

Maybe I should give it a new try.

    Hi Ralph,

I think there should be little bit of misunderstanding. I asked you whether are you interested in building a good friendship with me and Demonstar? Will you? smile

I thought your friendship was based on your shared enthusiasm for LK originally? wink

Despite that, every friend of Zimmer is my friend. beer

Yes we are happy people like this: christmas_drunk

Btw my top 3 Zimmer and other favorites are...

    1. obvious tongue
    2. Spanglish
    3. The Thin Red Line

The rest is in no particular order:

    The Holiday
    The Da Vinci Code
Driving Miss Daisy (especially the live version)
    Spirit: Stallion Of The Cimarron
The Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End
    The Last Samurai
    A League Of Their Own
    As Good As It Gets
    The Power Of One
An Everlasting Piece <- I ordered this crazy score last month but it hasn't arrived yet sad

To me, its not like that. All are my best friends. I am very friendly and jovial person. I like to be befriended with not only Zimmer fans but also others .

    Have a nice day!

Not only LK, but all good scores would certainly attract happy people. Is it not?

Count me in. The Lion King's score is very special to me. bunny

Also, I suggest you give Kung Fu Panda a listen. I noticed it wasn't on your list.

    You are always welcome. biggrin

I am yet to buy the CD of Kung Fu Panda. Before that, tell me your opinion on Kung Fu Panda. Is it really a worth buying?

As another huge Zimmer fan, I would say yes, it is definitely worth buying. Unless you have a distaste for John Powell's style, because it affects much of the score?
I love you all. Never change. Well, unless you want to!

"Naturally" as an epithet for any post here would be spurious, I feel.
    I'd opt for "Chemically".

I personally think it is very good, but I know that some people don't enjoy it as much as myself. My biggest suggestion is to watch the film sometime while paying some attention to the score. I'm sure some of the tracks are posted on youtube somewhere.

I love it, both score and movie. Talking pandas using kung fu taught by Dustin Hoffman to fight off evil tigers voiced by the ever silky-voiced Ian McShane? Come on! What's there not to love??

It looked too irritating for me? I'll wait until I see it on TV one day.

Ian McShane is damn good though. For evil Tiger you can't beat George Sanders voicing Sher Khan cool

KFP is a real fun score IMO. Mickey mousing to some extent but the choral music and ethnic stuff is really good and fits the movie very well. Also great to listen on CD.

Finally, i purchased "Kung Fu Panda" CD. Its awesome. applause I like the way they handled the chinese cues. It sounded great on CD. But after listening to track "Panda Po" and song "Kung Fu Fighting" i think these both tracks are based on some chinese traditional song, which i heard several times before. But i can't remember it exactly. Does anyone know about this?

Panda Po is slightly based on Kung Fu Fighting Song. If you observe deeply, you will notice. By the way, who originally composed Kung Fu Fighting Song? Do you know that?
