  1. "MillenniuM", which I wrote a review for, is down to less than 100 copies, so if you wanted it, but haven't gotten it, now is a good time.

    The review:

  2. I'm not seeing the review anymore:

    I tried refreshing the page -- still not there.

  3. I guess you hoped on it right away, 'cause I see it now, but the HTML is screwy and not displaying hte page properly, and I got this at the top:

    There was an error: exception 'SQLException' with message 'Error fetching num rows' in /opt/www/delangeb/web/www.maintitles.net/library/tools/creole/drivers/mysql/MySQLResultSet.php:86 Stack trace: #0 /opt/www/delangeb/web/www.maintitles.net/library/Framework/SQL/SQL.Database.php(82): MySQLResultSet->getRecordCount() #1 /opt/www/delangeb/web/www.maintitles.net/site/load.site.php(12): Db::executeQuery('SET NAMES 'utf8...') #2 /opt/www/delangeb/web/www.maintitles.net/index.php(10): include_once('/opt/www/delang...') #3 {main}

    Yup, thx for noticing Justin! It appears I still missed an issue with UTF8 encoding.

    Fixed all now.

    http://sdtom.wordpress.com/2011/01/30/r … op-3rozsa/

    There are several on Rozsa classical material on my blog. These won't be posted on maintitles due to lack of interest but having said that this Naxos CD just released is a bargain for $9 and it is readily available without any limited issue limitations.

    Tv music at its finest? Woah! smile I didn't like it at all personally speaking. It was all over the place, not focused and incoherent. Bits of it sound really fake and overblown to me, but it's just my opinion. Plus the recording and mixing is flat, too loud and with very little dynamic range. A mess at places, even the instruments aren't in co-ordination (temporal) all the times. As i said, i don't want to insult anyone, it's just my opinion.
    Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.

    the sound isn't too clear, that's a fact but perhaps that's simply the quality of the sound files. And as said, I think it's too pompous for its own good, can't imagine how it will work inside the series. But I absolutely adore pompous music, I always like it louder than quieter, so that's why I love it so much. And in the end it's always a personal matter. Do the themes attract your attention? What's the overall sound of the score?

    In the end we are all different, but for me it are reasons like this that I'm still looking forward to filmmusic in the future, because I know unknowing stuff like that will appear on my radar sooner or later

  7. Is anybody working on one for the ST:TNG Ron Jones box, or should I? I don't want to jump into it if somebody else is.

    It'll be slow going, by the way.

  19. Just lucky -- Jones put online a year in advance it was coming, so I started saving and there you have it.

    About half-way done. I'll have to pick it back up later, so probably two or three weeks and a certain site runner will recieve an e-mail with review...

    Question: crop the cover since it's not regular CD booklet sized, or use the whole thing?
