The artwork for Jupiter Ascending already looks cheesy and ridiculous though http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1713490688/ … f_=tt_ov_i

Why do they have to photoshop everyone to the point of making them look like robots?!?

The track lengths for Apes (or are we calling it DOTPOTA?) are now available - a nice hefty release - and while the physical CD may be delayed, it appears the digital copy will still be available on July 8th.

At last - samples! (added above)

It looks like the digital versions (or iTunes at least) will become available over the next few days - it's available in New Zealand right now, and I don't think it would be unreasonable to think other countries including the US will get it tomorrow.

This past spring, Oscar-winning composer Michael Giacchino was at the Newman Scoring Stage at 20th Century Fox to the record his score for the highly anticipated sequel, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. The film marks the third time Giacchino has worked with director Matt Reeves, and opens in theaters today. ScoringSessions.com is thrilled to bring our readers photos from the scoring sessions!

Indeed. Very few scores stand up to 2 discs of playing time, even excellent ones like Giacchino's Trek scores. (Plus, the extra bits that are worth hearing have been, shall we say, 'floating about' for some time now.)

Make that "almost no scores stand up (...)". I find myself completely bored by almost every form of 2-disc scores these days. Fuck c&c.

You are nearly correct but then you go and forget your very favourite James Horner score of all time.

Indeed. I'm struggling to think of any score that I'd want to hear 2 discs' worth of?
