    Very; Solaris was a milestone of a modern minimalistic score and "Traffic" worked wonders in the film. Looking forward to hearing that!

    Yeah Solaris and Traffic were very good. I also like his cooler stuff like Narc.

    New project for Martinez, at last.

    Title is "‘The Lincoln Lawyer’". Brad Furman directs the legal drama which stars Matthew McConaughey, Marisa Tomei, John Leguizamo, Ryan Phillippe and William H. Macy and it's bound for a March 18 release.

    Remastered ‘Solaris’ soundtrack announced

    La-La-Land Records will release a new and remastered version of Cliff Martinez’ score for Steven Soderbergh’s Solaris. The previous album for the 2002 sci-film starring George Clooney and produced by James Cameron has been out-of-print for a while. The new album will be released on January 18. To pre-order the CD, visit Amazon or order directly from La-La-Land Records later this month where the first 100 copies will be autographed by Martinez.

    Wtf, that means I payed waaaaay too much for my original release (with the kissing cover) off ebay. Oh well, good to see it's being re-released, though, because it's a beauty. smile

    Scratch that -- it seems things are wobbling and Martinez is score will still be there, and coming from Lakeshore Records.
