    I hope you like my translation luv! I didn't know you liked Sappho. It reminded me of something until it dawned to me that it's one of the hymns to Aphrodite. I'm honered if this gem came to your mind by my humble picture. kiss

    Oooooo, GOOD translation! VERY poetic, and in keeping with the tone of the poem.

    I used to love Sappho when we were studying Greek poetry at school. As far as I'm concerned the best damn poet and finest proto-Romantic ancient Greece has ever produced (and that's saying something!)
