Damn it. Now my hopes have been raised.
And I wanted to keep them kinda low just in case of a possible "let down factor".
It sounds promising that's for sure!

    Is Horner sick?

    He is far too thin...
  1. Well, he did say he was working 15 hour days for several months, on hte "Avatar" score. I imagine lack of sunshine, exercise, and eating probably got him.
The views and opinions of Ford A. Thaxton are his own and do not necessarily reflect the ones of ANYONE else.

Boring comment... pfff. Just wait and judge then.

It was a joke.... James Horner is one of my favorite composers.

Me too. Considering it's a sci-fi film there's so much good orchestral/ethnic material here and well balanced electronics/electric guitars. Want!

Sounds like the James Horner I've been missing for a good 10 years is back in action. At this rate, whether the film is a success or not, I cannot thank Cameron enough for waking this side of good ol' Jimmy up. punk

I've still only heard the one clip ( which I liked ) and am eagerly awaiting this score. I'll not listen to anything more until I have the CD.

I find it hard to believe. Horner songs are almost always simply gorgeous, those cheesy themes turned into cheesier songs hit all the right romantic notes to me, he has a great gift for those. I mean i even loved the Celino Dion song in Bicentennial Man!

    You're such a fag, D. biggrin

In all seriousness, I do have a feminine-like soft spot (take that as you will) for his New World and Beautiful Mind songs as they're not really 'pop' songs like his others. Also, Hayley Westenra = love

Don't. You'll send me into a quivering mess of uncontrollable and un-manly emotions.

I still think D's a girl for liking the Bicentennial Man song.
