The song sounds terrible. Almost as terrible as the one after 2012. I had to run out of the cinema!

I find it hard to believe. Horner songs are almost always simply gorgeous, those cheesy themes turned into cheesier songs hit all the right romantic notes to me, he has a great gift for those. I mean i even loved the Celino Dion song in Bicentennial Man!

    You're such a fag, D. biggrin

In all seriousness, I do have a feminine-like soft spot (take that as you will) for his New World and Beautiful Mind songs as they're not really 'pop' songs like his others. Also, Hayley Westenra = love

Funny thing is that i don't listen to such music, at all! APART Horner songs! But you have to admit the man has a talent for this!

    Already, I'm hearing
Glory, Mighty Joe Young, The Four Feathers and, of course, the danger motif
... but still, I don't care - it's all sounding good. Really looking forward to it.

From those longer clips it is obvious that the sound of this score is unmistakebly Horner. So we don't have to worry about it any more.
And what is especially good news for me is that it will contain both the lyrical and the action composer Horner as well.
By the way, I love those clips more and more by each listen punk

"Into the Na'vi World" on avatarscore.com seems to be just a stream playing clips from all the tracks because the music seems to be different each time. It doesn't seem to refer to any particular track, I reckon everything playing on it is on the OST.

Very good interview. I just like how he described scoring a film in terms of canvas, colors and painting a picture, and couldn't agree more with him regarding the current state of scoring. But next time, I hope someone speeds up the interview file a little. Or at least give Jimmy some Duracell energy drinks beforehand!

He's been following Peter Jackson's recipe for body shape, I guess. But perhaps a little too much.

Really? I don't see that at all. Quite the contrary. Good for him if he's managed to lose weight.
    I am extremely serious.
  5. 75 minutes of music, or the typical amount for a Horner score
let's hope the music is worth the time as well
