Contrary to popular belief that he'd died in 2009, stage magician Ali Bongo (<--see pic ) pulled off his greatest magic trick to disappear from England ( just like that ) and become president of the former French republic of Gabon in Africa.

FALSE.
It's probably a rumour set out because the two look like each other (not that I know how the president of the former French republic of Gabon looks like). -
