    confused

(You did realize the translation of 'mais que nada'?)

That said, I think Schifrin generally does a bang-up job. I play his Brazil Jazz album a lot!

    Alrigh then! biggrin

I think I need to hear this Schifrin Brazil album.

It's one of the most uplifting albums I know. Great stuff! (Ignore the negative reviews. These cats wouldn't know good jazz if it sat down and blew a trombone up their ass).

Very good news. Looking forward to this, hopefully the relative break he took from releasing a bunch of scores altogether, will help him release something genuinely exciting again.

I could never really get into Powell's music. But if this will sound something like Paycheck - which is a great album - I will give it a chance.

To be honest I think it's been during the "break" he's been writing all these. Just like 2007 was a relatively quiet year for him and 2008 saw seven scores from the man. wink

I have no problem with either of them so if it depends on the actors the movie can even be good, for that matter. And James Mangold, the director gave us 3:10 to Yuma, the best western (and one of my favourite movies) in years.

I think is goes to the top of the list in terms of expectations of all the new Powell scores.

I expect Green Zone to be a rehash of Bourne, How To Train Your Dragon will probably be a pleasant but unoriginal animation score, and Jonah Hex maybe he heavily rock influenced.

Something more standard and traditional in terms of an action score is what I want to hear!
