The final ten minutes of this one in the bank were brilliant.

    Indeed.

Itzin is a legend. If he were in every episode the first half of this season probably wouldn't have sucked.

Yes he is. There's a moment in episode 21, when he is deciding which tie to wear, that is priceless. And wait until you see Itzin's performance in episode 22. CLASSIC.

Just got the season seven pack and I'm glad they included in the extras the symphonic suite Callery conducted at Fimucité in 2007. 'Logan's Downfall' is a great theme!

    Ep 21...fuck-ing-hell Jack.

I was just waiting for the shovel in the corner to come out.

"You've reached the voicemail of Charles Logan, please leave a message."

    FUCK. YES punk

I hope they have a confrontation.

I loved his conversation with Pillar.

"We're public now, Jason. We're committed. And I have wor- we, WE have worked too hard to throw this all away."

You absolute douche. Props to the guy playing Jason too. He's another character I love to hate.

Haha, ep 22 Jack has gone off the rails. A shame we didn't get to see the shootout at the embassy.

I'm SO glad he put the massive duffel bag of guns to use though. And Logan caving instantly was hilarious. biggrin

And how he kept yelling at the secret service "CLOSE THE DOORS!!!"

That was wonderfully over the top! And I can't believe he's fallen for the same hidden microphone trick from season five. applause

Logan finally got what was coming to him and he's probably got to change his underwear.

KILL HIM!! (when he sees Jack through the window). His facial expressions during all the attack is what I call a superb performance.

It's a bit over the top with Suvarov being dirty, as long as Jack isn't going to try and kill him now...

But I don't really know what I want Jack to do now. Turn himself into President Taylor maybe and hand over the evidence?

Is it me, or did Logan suck in season 6? While he excels in season 5 and here, I can't remember a damn thing he did that season other than get stabbed....which they haven't even explained.

Yes, he wasn't as brilliant in season 6 as it has been in season 8 or was in season 5.

Simply his 'HE'S COMING FOR ME!!' line in episode 22 is omre memorable than all his participation in season 6.

It was such an overblown performance but EXACTLY what I wanted to see. I literally cheered for Jack in the impenetrable riot armor. Logan shat himself. biggrin

Although I can't see how Jack will emerge from this as the good guy. He's gone on a killing spree so the only way I can see this ending is death or prison.

    Go into hiding...again.

Actually I get the feeling if he takes the evidence of Suvarov to Taylor she'll call off the signing and Jack will be the hero again.

    Jack's...in...purgatory? wink

In that case I assume Jack will blackmail Suvarov to make sure the treaty is signed. So actually his agenda will match Logan's.

Was that really the best ending they could have come up with? It was basically the same as season four.

Oh well, now I can have my life back.

Btw, who writes the music for 24 now? Sean Callery again? Did they change anything in the soundscape compared to the first seasons?
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.

Callery did them all. He got some new samples in season seven which were pretty good and set a new tone for the music, but after a few episodes it slipped back into the usual. The first and fifth seasons were definitely the best musically. The first used the soundtrack quite heavily and it was quite noticeable, whereas season five plays out like a structured score with several themes and motifs.

Season eight was probably the least interesting and had a LOT of underscore. The last episode has some pretty good (if not repeated) music though.

Don't tell me you didn't like that Jack's final words are with Chloe. Oh and, 'SHUT IT DOWN'. Snow screen. TIC TIC TIC TAC.

It was either really bad, or Fox clearly do have the guts to say "no":
