I love Greek sandwiches (erm...no idea if that is a proper translation, in France they're called Sandwich Grecque), where you get french fries on a french loaf! biggrin

  1. I had the best chicken burrito for lunch today. Grilled chicken, rice, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, and chipotle sauce inside a flour tortilla, with tortilla chips and chipotle salsa on the side. Heaven.

Don't try the topinambour (English: "Jerusalem artichoc"; in Dutch, the slightly less aristocratic "earth pear"). They is poison. sad

Well, not poison, but my poor tummy is seriously upset. slant
First try...not trying it again... so much for my wild experimentations.

Hmmm, with added salt and garlic, and maybe some chives and parsley, with just a squirt of lemon juice, I think that could be properly tasty! Very semi-Greek/Turkish dish there!

Not that sounds like worth trying!

Sometimes at work they do what they call a "Wellington Burger" - just a burger with some pastry and mushrooms on top. Sounds BAD...but it's definitely lick
