There includes a 3+ minute clip of an interview with Shore that features (I assume) some of the music composed for the opera.
I get the impression from what he says that the music is going to be completely new. The music heard in the clip is certainly very different from the music heard in the movie - though someone on the FSM messageboard did question whether the music would be for piano-only. I would have thought that this was just music played during rehearsals? The views expressed in this post are entirely my own and do not reflect the opinions of maintitles.net, or for that matter, anyone else. http://www.racksandtags.com/falkirkbairn -

Take a look at the creative team on the site and you know enough. Don't think they'd get a conductor, associate conductor and chorus master for just a piano
Plácido Domingo
CONDUCTOR
Plácido Domingo has conducted symphonic concerts with such renowned orchestras as the Berlin Philharmonic, London Symphony and the Chicago Symphony.
Grant Gershon
ASSOCIATE CONDUCTOR/CHORUS MASTER
Grant Gershon joined LA Opera during the 2007/08 season as Associate Conductor / Chorus Master.
I'm very excited as well. Now let's hope for a quick CD-recording! -

Could be a chorus of pianos?
My original thoughts were not too positive on hearing the music heard during the interview. The views expressed in this post are entirely my own and do not reflect the opinions of maintitles.net, or for that matter, anyone else. http://www.racksandtags.com/falkirkbairn -

It didn't do much for me either, but I'm sure it'll be a whole other experience once you hear it the way it's meant: with orhestra and choir. Oh, and piano -

Did anyone in the Los Angeles see this yet? I'm curious what people think about it, if you've seen it.
