Bollocks, the whole he's not a "composer" thing. If he writes for film and in the last 2 works but also Body of Lies wrote pretty good, then that's it, no matter what others, fans or colleagues, might suggest. End of story, leave the bitterness outside. And as far as i am concerned, he's more of a composer than certain others who have the typical "composer" traits and degrees.
Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders.

"...and if my grandmother had wheels she'd be a wagon" - Scotty.
  2. Justin's general hatred for ALL THINGS Zimmer, including Hans as a person, makes him totally closed for anything else that gets him "involved" whatever that really means. This basically kills any factual discussion with him, because all he can say is that ZIMMER SUCKS and not look at certain facts that are quite important for the understanding of even the whole modern film scoring industry. He might know a thing or two about rejected scores, but he is totally ignorant of the composing process and things like that. I can see that based on my own personal experience of those.

  4. I usually do, no worries, except the times where you attack composers personally as if you knew what they were about and understand their working process. Have you ever worked with a composer closely in the scoring pre-production period (choosing temp-track, discussing the interpretation of a scene, checking out a piece against the movie to give remarks when the director was absent due to the project being remote) or attended a Hollywood recording session of an A-list composer? I'm curious.

    New from Varèse Sarabande:

    RIDDLE
    Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
Music Composed and Conducted by Scott Glasgow

    Some Secrets Never Die …

College student Holly Teller (Elisabeth Harnois) is drawn to the mysterious small town of Riddle, Pennsylvania in search of her missing brother. Against the will of the local Sheriff (Val Kilmer) and town elder (William Sadler), she begins to unravel a mystery connected to an abandoned psychiatric hospital on the edge of town, uncovering a terrifying past the town is determined to keep hidden.

Beautiful. A haunting thriller score with so much to say! Great ideas and musical variety unfold along this wonderful musical journey, taking it's time to reveal composer Scott Glasgow's best score yet! The finale is an absolute whopper but it's the expressive writing on the way there that makes reaching it so rewarding! Scott Glasgow returns to Varèse Sarabande with RIDDLE!
