What a finish to the Croatia/Turkey game!! After, what turned out to be a bit of a snooze-fest. Disappointed that Croatia were knocked out though - they seemed to be a team who seemed to be especially proud to be representing their country. And they have been playing the better football of these two teams in the competition. The views expressed in this post are entirely my own and do not reflect the opinions of maintitles.net, or for that matter, anyone else. http://www.racksandtags.com/falkirkbairn -

Indeed, what a finish! So, about tonight.... Van Basten vs. Hiddink, blimey! But I'm confident the Dutch will defeat the Russians!! -

FalkirkBairn wrotewhy ? Russia is defenitely the team with the most individual young talent. They have a coach who knows how to organise a team. They are fast and create chances from every angle you can imagine , their defense is stable. Russia would be a good finalist for this tournament, with Spain. They gave the Dutch no opportunity to play and organise.
I certainly hope that Russia's campaign ends tonight. -

I don't think reason why the won was because they playing extremy well. What amazed me was that the Dutch team played so damn slow -

Maybe the German coach looks like Tom Newman.
But doesn't Luis Aragones look like Jerry Goldsmith?http://www.filmmusic.pl - Polish Film Music Review Website -

Noooooooo! Italy -

Both played very mediocre, slowwww and around the middle only without going for it, but at least Spain was trying all the time while Italy sat back and waited for the penalties, hoping they'd outdo Spain. Obviously they forgot about Casillas, the only one who played ball tonight.Love Maintitles. It's full of Wanders. -

I just haven't enjoyed how the Russians have played up until now - but they certainly played better to reach the last 4.The views expressed in this post are entirely my own and do not reflect the opinions of maintitles.net, or for that matter, anyone else. http://www.racksandtags.com/falkirkbairn -

Do you also had various blackouts on your tv stations?? -

Yes, lost pictures for a while. Lucky, lucky Germans! They'll never play so badly again and win. -

As James said, we lost pictures here in the UK. Apparently this picture loss was worldwide - huge electrical storms in Vienna (where the feed was beamed from) upset some of the electrics. The views expressed in this post are entirely my own and do not reflect the opinions of maintitles.net, or for that matter, anyone else. http://www.racksandtags.com/falkirkbairn -

Though the BBC is quoted as reporting that "...Swiss public TV company SRG in Zurich and Al-Jazeera..." did not have their TV disrupted.

I wasn't able to see much of the game but it must have been quite frustrating for viewers - especially as it all happened when it was getting particularly interesting! The views expressed in this post are entirely my own and do not reflect the opinions of maintitles.net, or for that matter, anyone else. http://www.racksandtags.com/falkirkbairn -

Did your stations also took over the signal from swiss tv? The time delay of the image was so annoying since the commentator spoke via phone. So I heard the goals before I could see them.
