I don't know, opens up in an airplane and it's pretty stylish, tight and very well shot. Will have to watch it entirely and let you know smile

J.J + Kurtzman + guy who plays Abbadon? I'm in!

I hope Giacchino gets it. I was thinking today if he'd do any more TV after Lost (it's not like he needs to now).

How do you already have the first ep, D?

...cos it's mostly temp-tracks from Lost, Alias & MI 3, with some Se7en and Sunshine here and there.

It's only a preair pilot, so i guess the score hasn't been recorded yet.

Interesting, with a big budget and entertaining, but won´t take "X Files" place as the best sci-fi series, not at all. Starts very good (what´s with Abrams and planes?) but ends up as a kind of Schwarzenegger´s "The 6th Day", with all the ultra-super-hyper-high-tech-science and super-ultra-hyper-mega-corporations that want to rule the world while they terrorise it with their experiments rolleyes . Anyway the cast is ok (I was a bit scared because of Joshua Jackson, but he is more than correct) and is funny to see the spooky black guy from "Lost" performing the role of.....the spooky black guy.

There´s a lot of music from "Lost" in the temp track of the score, and many others from Giacchino. I heard too an action cue in the style of Powell´s Bourne, but not sure if it´s by him.

Somehow, I first read the title of this thread as Fridge.

Thought that was a rather odd name for a TV series.

Yeah, that's an awesome scene and he is one of the most brilliant casting choices i've ever seen, totally spot-on!

I am not sure if he likes it though that his career will always evolve around the "scary black Dharma guy" tag though biggrin

Hope they explain who the fudge is he in some point?

I love characters like Abbadon. He reminds me of G-Man from the Half Life games. The same happenned with the first appearances of Christian Shepard (when he was just standing in random places in the blue suit).

And damn it. I've finally got time to watch The Fringe. God damn the opening scene - I'm flying in less than 14 hours!!! moon biggrin

Oh, they HAVE to explain who he is.....hope so...

Oh, he is not that spooky in "Fringe" by the way; well he is, he has a very particular face and eyes, but he has a lot more talking and is more like the chief of the department the female star of the show works in.
Anyway, good acting. But as Demetris says, dunno if he is very happy with all that "scary black guy" roles they offer him (he appeared also in CSI Miami performing the "scary FBI black guy" too). I have no doubt he has a great time performing them though.

Just for the record, a photo of the actor smiling...he almost seems normal! biggrin
