For those in the Los Angeles area, composer George Shaw will be signing copies of his CDs: The Loch Ness Monster and Other Short Films, and J-OK'EL (which will be released on June 24th by http://moviescoremedia.com), as well as ROBOTECH: The Shadow Chronicles (which I orchestrated on for Scott Glasgow). He will also be handing out free promo CDs featuring unreleased tracks and an exclusive preview of music from the upcoming score to the feature-length Indiana Jones fan film, Treasure of the Templars.

Listen to some of the themes here:
    http://georgeshawmusic.com/templar.html

The signing will be 2pm on Saturday, June 28th at Dark Delicacies in Burbank. (http://www.darkdel.com - click on Signings/Events)
    4213 W. Burbank Blvd.
    Burbank, CA 91505

There will be many other cool people around signing stuff, including the director of Robotech, Tommy Yune (who will be there signing Speed Racer and Robotech stuff), Scott Glasgow (composer - Robotech / Hack / Bone Dry), Charles Bernstein (composer - Nightmare on Elm Street), Stu Phillips (composer - Battlestar Galactica (orig.) / Buck Rogers), Ryan Shore (composer - Numb), AND Carl Gottleib (screenwriter to JAWS) singing his new book "The Jaws Log - 30th Anniversary Edition book.

Visit George's blog for more details, and for info on donating money towards recording the Treasure of the Templars score (while also getting your hands on some cool CDs).

Here's your chance to hear fuller versions of the music I've written for Treasure of the Templars. There are two tracks, the first is "The Knights Templar", which features my Templar theme and the Love theme. The other is "Indy's Escape," which features the adventure theme, and the Raider's theme, which will be used in the movie. For the album version, I've written a parody of the Raiders march, which is what you hear here.

    New Album
My new album, Legendary Warriors, is now available. It is inspired by my love of martial arts films from Asia, so I set out to compose music that would evoke images of warriors from the past. It contains epic themes scored for orchestra with traditional instruments from China and Japan, including erhu (Chinese fiddle), bamboo flute, guzheng (Chinese string zither), taiko drums, and many more.

I made a behind the scenes interview video, which was a lot of fun to do. Watch it on youtube (Click on the link to watch it in High Quality):

The concert does have a theme of Halloween and Jokel is a horror movie.
