No, but there's apparently an interview with David Arnold. I swear around the time CR came out I saw some footage of the recording sessions on a making-of thing on the TV.

No, I have no idea, it was ages ago. sad

All I remember was it was recorded in a massive hall (which I seem to think was circular) and they showed some of the brass section performing for African Rundown. Also I think there was some footage of David's house/studio and him playing the Bond theme on his piano.

Cheers man, I'll have to investigate beer
  1. I hope the use of the Bond theme is as sparing as it was in CASINO ROYALE. It really packed a punch when it came back at the end. (Especially compared to the overuse of the Indiana Jones theme in the recent KOTCS.)

I want it used more than it was in Casino Royale. However, I have nothing but respect for Arnold limiting its use for Casino. In tomorrow never dies, I thought its use was perfect, and it was used quite often. Bond is "BOND" now. The accompaniment of the bond theme goes with the job. cool

For me it helped the Bond world feel fresh to not have that tune belt out every time an action scene took off. Arnold wrote better action scenes as a result, because he didn't have to structure them around variations on the Bond theme.

I see what you are talking about. You liked how he was able to make it much more Arnold, and less Barry. I really see where you are coming from.

Exactly what Franz said. Although I'm hoping we get a twangy guitar version of the main theme at some point other than the end credits.
