I've read your review Bregt and I found the music not bad but not too memorable either, except for the main theme with the Japanese sounding singers, which is rather good. And it doesn't just appear at the beginning and end. The score is actually built around it, but most tracks are more atmospheric than thematic. Still a good effort. And the lack of orchestra doesn't bother me."considering I've seen an enormous debate here about The Amazing Spider-Man and the ones who love it, and the ones who hate it, I feel myself obliged to say: TASTE DIFFERS, DEAL WITH IT" - Thomas G. -

Hear selections on my NEW This Just In program. I really enjoy this score a lot! The last cue is fantastic!

Hearing it on Cinematic Sound, I have to say that most of this score seemed like a cross between the theme from Xena: Warrior Princess and some of HGW's choral music from the Narnia films. -

I really enjoy this composer's use of voice and prominent, meaty low strings. His scores for Obscure and its sequel are also worth hearing.
His new score for the game Of Orcs and Men is of a similar vein, with added percussion and rhythms. I like it.The views expressed in this post are entirely my own and do not reflect the opinions of maintitles.net, or for that matter, anyone else. http://www.racksandtags.com/falkirkbairn -

Ah, percussion and rhythms... I'll have to check that one out then. Alone in the Dark is pretty good."considering I've seen an enormous debate here about The Amazing Spider-Man and the ones who love it, and the ones who hate it, I feel myself obliged to say: TASTE DIFFERS, DEAL WITH IT" - Thomas G.
