Poor Gregson-Williams. I'm sure that Powell is going to have the opportunity to write another great epic superhero score, like X Men The Last Stand

Cool. It's great that JNH is going to have another job for next year. About Patrick Doyle that's curious, becuase he scored Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and in Planet of the Apes it's going to be Tom Felton, Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter
  8. JNH working on a Tom Hanks score is not that shocking, that was somewhat expected, still cool news.

I don't know, I just hope it won't be the cliché comedy score we hear all the time. I wish JNH to choose more challenging projects.

JNH scored a comedy called Big Trouble. He made a very jazzistic and fun score. Also, his score suite for the comedy Confessions of a Shopaholic was pretty good.

The Trip has been and gone. It was a BBC comedy series (very, very good). There was a little tiny bit of Nyman music in it (no more than a couple of minutes in each of a couple of episodes) - I'm not sure it was original.

    I'm interested in this one.
  12. "Oranges and Sunshine"
    "Burning Man"
    "In/Sight"
(this one co-composed with Marcello De Francisci)
    Lisa Gerrard
Source: news letter via e-mail, from her website.

It also mentions she provided additional scoring and vocals for Young's "Preist", but when that score was recorded a couple or so months back, in the details, there was no mention of her. I sense some score meddling. We'll see if this film comes out with his score at all.
