  3. Anybody (Mikael, Dan!) know who's scoring Adam McKay's Step Brothers? I've heard that it's being recorded right now and John Debney might be doing it?!
  4. I heard a rumor of Mark Isham. IT's probably being kept hush hush because it's probably a replacement score, since you'd think the director would go back with Alex Wurman.

Do we know who is scoring...

    Appaloosa (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0800308/)
    The Other Man (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0974613/)

    ?
  9. According to UpcomingFilmScores today, Philip Glass is scoring "The Other Man" (not dirty pun intended). He is also scoring "Doubt".

Now sure what got in Glass to suddenly jump in and pound on the film score composing drum these passed few years since he's quite old and will probably pass away soon, but I am thankful he did; at least he takes jobs that some crapp Remote Control HAnzi Zimmer flunky might get.

    In your view.

And for the record, I expressed similar thoughts about Goldsmith and Rosenman -- and gave timeframes, each of which happened in the timeframe. Not that the timeframe means anything, but my opinions on Goldsmith are pretty well known here.

And, quite frankly, even if 90% of the people share your view, I still could not give a micro f**k. My day will go on and I will do other things.

Glass is only in his sixties. I suspect like many who take on a second career in life, it was a mixture of opportunities (people wanted him to work for them) and personal interest (it presented new challenges).
