Oh I don´t think he is a douche. He is an arrogant and a bit of a show off, but I love his visual style and I don´t seen anyone better to direct the films he directs.

He's still a douche who obviously doesn't care about the fans who grew up loving the Transformers in the 80's.

Ok but the accuracy adapting the world of Transformers has nothing to do with his style. Besides, he is the director, not the writer. I know, I know, he is Michael Bay and could have modified the screenplay at his will. But he didn´t. I understand that the most die hard fans are/were upset, but that always happens when adapting comics/books/Tv shows to cinema.

Besides, wasn´t McDouche the douche? tongue wink

  1. It looks like it will be quite dark, and the effects are still a little too effects like (meaning they don't blend it that well, they look to pretty). the brilliance of the first were that the effects blended in so wonderful

Ahh well, I just hope it will be fun

Nobody should care about the 80s who are compeeting with the 70s in terms of who's being the worst tongue biggrin

  2. Everybody's playing with putting music on scenes or trailers, here's my take on the Transformers 2 trailer

As most will know, no music was attached to it, just a couple of SFX that pose as something as music, I put some Immedtiate Music on it, hope you guys like it

And yes, the sound and dialogue remains wink
    It is 22 mb

    From Empire:

After months of speculation about which giant transforming robots may or may not appear in Michael Bay’s upcoming mega-sequel, Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen, Paramount Pictures has been kind enough to release a full list of the participating Autobots and Decepticons – and there’s a couple of surprises on there…

The Autobots are: gravelly leader Optimus Prime (like, duh!), weapons specialist Ironhide, medic Ratchet and Sam Witwicky’s bestest friend, Bumblebee, now a 2010 Chevy Camaro.

That quartet, of course, return from the first movie, but now they’re joined by reinforcements including turncoat Decepticon, and doddery old duffer, Jetfire; female Autobot Arcee (briefly glimpsed in the teaser trailer that launched a couple of months ago); Jolt, and Skids & Mudflap, two Autobots known as The Twins.

So, nine Autobots in total. Not bad, but they’ll need all the strength they can muster in the face of the overwhelming Decepticon onslaught. They are:

Returning characters Starscream (formerly second-in-command, now head honcho) and Scorponok; and new characters, Sideways, Ravage (the panther-like beastie glimpsed in the teaser trailer), Soundwave (now a satellite orbiting Earth), The Doctor, a tiny bastard that will torment Shia LaBeouf’s Sam Witwicky, Wheelie, Demolishor (the giant wheeled villain that we saw fighting Optimus in the teaser), and the seven – s-e-v-e-n – Constructicons that will form the massive Devastator. They are: Scavenger, Scrapper, Hightower (wasn’t he in the Police Academy movies?), Longhaul, Rampage, Overload and, erm, Mixmaster. Jazzy Jeff wasn’t available, apparently.

Then, last but not least, there’s The Fallen – the catalyst for the movie’s plot, the Lucifer of the Transformersverse. But we knew he’d be in it – he’s the title character, for God’s sake.

But the plot thickens: Megatron, the leader of the Decepticons, is not on the list. Given that he was last seen getting killed and dumped into the ocean, that shouldn’t be a surprise. But all along, the suspicion has been that Megatron will appear in the movie, and that his exclusion from the list is misdirection on Bay’s part. After all, Hugo Weaving has confirmed that he has recorded dialogue as the voice of Megatron, so… watch this space.

Also, ILM effects guru, Scott Farrar, hinted recently that there may be as many as 60 robots in the finished movie, which is way more than Paramount have revealed thus far..

    shocked

this is going to be one kick ass movie punk

Brain dead Transformers may be, but I don't really have a problem with that since it's very entertaining. I think it's worth watching just for the CGI.
  6. I know it'll be unmeasurable more satisfying than the latest I saw in the theatre: Benjamin Button... Just a little quicker in pace I should expect biggrin

I might be if Bay would give us a wide angle once in a while. The CGI may have been impressive in transformers, but i really couldn't tell you for sure since the camera never stopped shaking and never zoomed out. Grrr.....
