They're not necessarily spoiled, especially given that they tend to come from working class backgrounds, but they do tend to be lazy and moronic. Also, the US has a slightly larger population, so yes, I imagine it does. wink
  1. I seem to remember to have read somwhere that teens in the UK tend to get pregnant deliberately whereas in the US it is caused primarely by a lack of precaution / sex education. The problem exists all over Europe as well.

Yeah but US teens, those who have the mtv reality tv show morality, are as spoiled as they are pregnant.

  2. Pregnancy is on the decline in the U.S. amongst most groups except one or two; we can't sustain the country if the trend continues -- no country can. As I recall.

  8. I decided to try one of those little bottles of energy drinks. The idea was I do two or three hours of fairly intense exercise each day, and I wanted something to make it easier if not a breeze.

So I got a bottle. One of the cheap knock-off brands from a discount store. Zero calories, zero grams of sugar, but plent of B12 and other stuff. It didn't say how long it took to take effect and how long it lasted, unlike name brand ones, so I had to use some advice on the web and came to the conlclusion of an hour before exercise and the bottle probably lasts about six hours. So, I figured half a bottle.

So, an hour before I opened the bottle of orange-flavored energy drink and smelled it. Yeah, it smelled like an orange drink, so good so far. Then I took a sip.

Oh, fuck! It tastes like fucking flavored cough syrup, only full of B12 and caffine! So I got ready for the yucky nightmare and moved my flavored water closer. Unlike liquid cough medicine, the after taste was quickly washed away with water. Good. Next time I'll chug it and wash it away quickly.

So, a daily serving size is one bottle, so having taken half I expected to feel little to no side effects and only get the energy.

I start exercizing and it seems like any other day, however about half an hour into it the affect of added energy indeed started kicking it. It wasn't large, it wasn't impressive, and it still felt like I was slogging threw the exercize, but at the same time I felt I didn't need to stop very often and could keep going as well as I was able to do more intense speeds for longer length -- clearly more energy.
At the end of the second hour I felt that while I wouldn't want to, I could do a third hour with not too much slogging, which is nice indeed. A third hour of what I do, can be a lllooooonnnggg hour.

So, in the end the energy last a while after and I was more awake and more alert, though not a huge amount, and I only felt one breif after efect: a kind of warm feeling in one of my mucles in one of my legs before the knee. That's it. Now all that's left is to see if I fall asleep without too much trouble -- hopefulyl none.

So, I thought that might be of interest to those thinking about trying them.

Funeral home's drive-thru window allows mourners to pay last respects on the go...

You know, for when attending somebody's funeral just takes too much time out of your day. Maybe they'll sell soda and fries there, too.

I do. Autumn is my favourite season -- especially if it can be like your photo. However, it's been freezing cold here over the last few weeks and most leafs are gone already.
