  2. Thanksgiving occurs always on Thursdays and because a lot of companies kept closed the next day to make it a long weekend, the name was dubbed Black Friday.

    Apparently there's more; a woman's pregnancy was prematurely terminated as she miscarried her baby when she was stamped and 2 idiots killed each other with guns after their stupid fat wives got into a violent dispute over a last xbox package! MY NERVES!

    I wish I could say "Only in America", but this goes for most countries with a great percentage of low-income groups. I have yet to see it happen in Norway, but whenever there's a big sale or whenever something FREE is given away, it surely is chaos here as well, especially since we otherwise have some of the highest prices in the world.
    I am extremely serious.

    Yeah, I saw that a couple of years ago. It's been going around the internet for a while. Interesting "experiment".

    Obviously not THAT interesting.

    Anyway, a group of us had this video played to us as an example of being too focused on one thing and missing something obvious. Unfortunately, I was one of the significant number of people who didn't see the gorilla the first time we viewed the video. Seeing the video the second time and seeing how obvious the gorilla is was certainly a shame moment!

  9. Did anyone see the conjunction of the moon, Venus and Jupiter tonight? It was a bit cloudy and viewing conditions were not good - nor were the conditions for a good photo.
