I can't hear anything after the intro? I can only make the circle smaller or bigger...

It took me some time to figure it out too: it's like the mirror-laser game: if you move/expand the circle into the jet stream of light, it gets deflected in the direction the circle indicates.
You should try and direct the jet towards the "battry indicator" that becomes fuller the more light particles hit it.

When the indicator is full, the level is completed.

    It's really quite addictive!

Uh, no, I don't think so?

(But to be honest, I played it with the sound off...it may well be that there's an added level of complexity. But that's the fun of it: like the intro says, there is no ONE solution.
Anyway, I'll try with the sound on as well.
I think it's pretty hypnotic at any rate. I was playing while listening to that Max Richter concerto... very estranging...)

Ehm....OK, then. You widen your circles to deflect streams of light. I'll go out for a beer.

    wink

    M. Steiman
    B. Herrza
    F. Waxkin
    A. Newner
    D. Tiommann

Ghosts have peculiar way of existing when you believe in them, and an even more peculiar way of not existing when you don't.

    Odd that.

I believe in them. I've known way too many people who have experienced that sort of stuff that aren't lying. But I've not seen anything for myself. I know that I believe in demons and spirits. There is spiritual realm among us that we can't see.

I also think most of the stuff on TV with Ghost Hunters and such is bull crap. Pure entertainment is all.

The Robber is probably making it up though.

There are many realms that we cannot see. We're 4th dimensional creatures living in a multi-dimensional universe, a universe with a complexity far beyond our comprehension (well, for now). Some take a more romantic view of the universe's mysteries. Some just have a distinct lack of knowledge about how our brains work.

Although I don't doubt your friends are lying, are they reciprocating the truth I wonder? Many people have believed they've been abducted by aliens, and I'm sure many of them feel they are telling the truth (and some just to get on TV of course). I wonder though if we believe they were really abducted by aliens? Just something to think about, no big point really. It's not like we're talking about religion. biggrin wink

  2. A beautiful - though artificial-looking - photo that recently won a "Landscape Photographer of the Year" (not me by the way). Not the usual angle of the Old Man of Storr on Skye:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/photoblog/20 … award.html

Apparently the image was generated through HDR, high dynamic range:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_dynamic_range_imaging

I'm not sure whether these images are in the true spirit of a landscape competition. It's a bit too processed for me.
