Hello everybody,
my name is Daniel, I live near Munich, Germany. I think I am a movie nuts (at least my wife keeps me calling like that) and at the tender age of 10 I had a crucial experience when I watched THE WIND AND THE LION on german TV - and the name of Jerry Goldsmith clung into my head. But it was not until INDIANA JONES AND THE TEMPLE OF DOOM when I had saved enough money to buy myself an LP. From that time on I regularly bought scores but it was not until some 8 or 9 years ago when I finally gave in and started real collecting.
I like all kinds of swashbuckling and adventure scores, John Williams, Patrick Doyle, Jerry Goldsmith, Georges Delerue, Basil Poledouris and Miklos Rozsa are among my favourites.
I hope to meet many fellow soundtrack aficionados here!

I?m Alice from Holland. I?ve been lurking over here for quite a while now but decided to register now???with a little help from Martijn
(*waves*). I know a few of you here like Martijn, Pawel and Bob. And I got to see Demetris live at Soncinemad in 2006 (from a distance). I?m into filmmusic ever since I heard the music of Once upon a time in the West by Morricone and various westerns. A few of my favorite composers are John Williams, Miklos Rozsa, Ennio Morricone and Gabriel Yared. It's a great forum and i hope to continue reading interesting threads over here!
