Hello...I too was on scorereviews but didn't post much.

I'm a musician working in and around London, I have a lot of friends who play on soundtracks and have played on some myself punk

    Love the site....
  1. Great to have you on board, violaone!

Maybe you'd like to start a topic and give us a few of your experiences in the studio? I'm sure that there would be a few of us who would be interested in hearing them.

I see you like Dr. Who soundtracks FalkirkBairn. I just did the Xmas special...we did 50 mins of cues in 6 hours, pretty quick work seeing as a movie can take 20 3 hour sessions....

    shocked
I've always wondered whether someone who records music for TV/film actually gets a buzz from doing it or whether it's just a job. What's your opinion, violaone.

Being on the outside viewing in I'd always be quite excited, but from my one experience at watching a recording session I get the impression that a lot of the musicians see it as just a job.

Horses for courses as they say. Depends how many you've done, how long you've done it for etc. As for Dr. Who, the BBC NOW do some TV sessions as well as a lot of classical concerts and studio concert recordings so it's a mixture.

What about Greenlanders? Europeans or Americans?

They're close to America but belong to Denmark...

Why doesn't more people have trouble sleeping at night thinking about that?

So, when can we expect the bloody war of Greenlanders independence from the tyranny of the Danes?
