Damn. And I only today cooked a curry stew with red lentils, sweet potato, coconut milk, ananas and pork. It was delicious anyway.

I'm afraid weather forecasting has improved ( a bit ) since the days of Michael Fish. wink

Good luck with that move. Always a stressful time.

Meh. I hate winter and have no romantic notions of it. And now I have a good ol' man cold on top, which makes it even worse.
    I am extremely serious.
  6. Then stick to the Irish Coffe part, or grog, or hot tea anyway. I personally hate alcohol when I have a cold.
    Get better!

Thanks. Yeah, alcohol does not go well with colds, although one does feel better in an intoxicated state (but all the worse the day after). I've been downing hot green tea with honey and lemon for WEEKS now.

I hope you guys aren't bothered with snow and minus temperatures yet.
    I am extremely serious.
  7. The white stuff has arrived in Westphalia. But only about two inches of it. Here's hope it'll melt away again soon.

It's ridiculous how the UK grinds to a halt with a bit of snow.

It's the main story on the news!!
